Software Quality Manager

Responsible for Quality Assurance department and staff. Implement standard operating procedures and develop objectives for quality department to ensure the overall quality of the company's software applications. Provide proper testing tasks and policies to ensure that developed products meet design specifications.

Specific Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Quality Automation team, including Automation Engineer I/II roles, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development guidance.     

Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organization’s quality assurance strategy, processes, and automation roadmap aligned with secure SDLC practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., FFIEC, NIST, SOC 2).      

Partner with Software Development,Product Management, and Compliance teams to ensure quality standards are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.      

Own the QA function’s contribution to project planning, ensuring sufficient testing resources, coverage, and risk mitigation for financial software releases.     

Oversee the creation, review, and approval of test strategies, test plans, and test automation suites across multiple projects and teams.      

Monitor QA metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement.     

Ensure team compliance with secure coding practices, vulnerability testing, and data privacy requirements relevant to financial institutions.     

Coordinate user acceptance testing(UAT) efforts with business stakeholders and support readiness for internal and external audits.      

Drive the selection and implementation of testing tools and infrastructure, including automation frameworks and performance testing platforms.      

Represent the QA discipline in executive meetings and regulatory discussions, communicating quality status, risks, and compliance readiness.

Qualifications & Experience:

7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years in leadership or management role.      

Proven success leading QA teams within a highly regulated environment (e.g., banking, fintech).      

Deep understanding of financial software requirements, risk-based testing, and data security standards.    

Demonstrated experience with test automation strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern QA tools (e.g.,TestComplete, Selenium, Postman, Jenkins, and Jira).      

Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevSecOps, and release management.      

Track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.      

Familiarity with audit procedures, documentation practices, and tools to support regulatory compliance (e.g.,FFIEC, NIST, ISO 27001).      

Excellent leadership, communication ,and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.     

ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or equivalent certification strongly preferred.      

Training or certification in IT governance or security frameworks (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP) is a plus.
