ASI is seeking a strategic, results-driven Account Executive to drive revenue growth through lead generation, consultative sales, and promotion of ASI’s solutions in the community banking market. This role requires advanced selling skills, technical acumen and an ability to connect with clients on a strategic level. The AE will partner closely with the Sales Engineer to identify client pain points and design tailored solutions that align with ASI’s offerings, showcasing the value of our industry-leading bank core software.

The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the banking and financial services industries and excel in translating technical capabilities into practical business solutions. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work remotely with occasional office visits for team collaboration and training.

The AE will be crucial to driving deal success, helping prospects understand how ASI can solve their unique challenges and improve operational efficiency. Your ability to blend technical insights with business strategy will help shape the future of our client relationships and accelerate company growth.

Requirements:

5+ years in selling core banking software and solutions into community banks

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and sales targets

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers

Skilled in managing RFP’s proposals, and contract negotiations

Strong people skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives

Strong CRM (Salesforce) discipline and ability to manage a structured pipeline with accurate forecasting

Proficient in using digital tools and platforms to conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and product demos

Ability to travel and work remotely

Approachable, positive, and humble, with a great sense of humor.

Specific Responsibilities:

Solution Selling & Customer-Centric Approach:

Understanding of sales cycle, development and qualification of business need, identification of community banks, positioning of product and customer solutions

Ability to formulate strategies, tactics and planning to develop leads and relationships within assigned territory to grow pipeline, meet KPI’s and attain sales quota

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Solution Presentation:

Collaborate with Sales Engineer to understand customer requirements and tailor product demonstrations to meet specific needs

Respond to technical inquiries from clients and prospects, providing clear and concise explanations of the software’s capabilities

Respond to RFP’s, prepare proposals, and create customized solution presentations

Strategic Prospecting & Consultative Selling:

Engage with clients during the pre-sales process to gather requirements, answer questions, and address concerns

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle

Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and the latest features of ASI’s offerings to ensure accurate and compelling demonstrations

CRM Proficiency & Data-Driven Sales Management:

Utilize CRM tool (Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting

Education & Experience:

4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (required)

5+ years of experience in quota-bearing sales, preferably in B2B software sales, particularly in SaaS or cloud-based solutions

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate complex software solutions

Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business value

Experience in the community banking or financial services industry is a plus

Experience in MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and Salesforce

Strong organizational skills, including prioritizing, time management, and ability to meet deadlines

Compensation:

Base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications

Commission is uncapped and tied directly to performance
