- Automated Systems, Inc. Announces Support for Citrix MetaFrame Thin-Client/Server Software
Lincoln, Nebraska – June 16, 1998 Automated Systems, Inc., a Gold Solutions Provider of the Citrix Solutions Network, today announced plans to sell and support Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS) MetaFrame thin-client/server software for Windows NT 4.0 to the community banking and county government markets. As a CSN member, Automated Systems, Inc. will provide customer planning, installation, integration and post-sales support for the Citrix MetaFrame and WinFrame® thin-client/server software product lines.
In the past two years, Automated Systems, Inc. has been converting traditional client/server installations using its Insite Banking™ and TerraScan County Government Systems to the thin-client/server computing model provided by Citrix WinFrame software. All of the companys new installations are utilizing the Citrix WinFrame solution. Citrixs new MetaFrame thin-client/server software has proven to solve many existing problems for our clients including remote application deployment and easier administration.
