Lincoln, Nebraska – October 4, 2000 Automated Systems, one of the areas largest networking services companies, has announced a “CIO Power Lunch” seminar series. This is a new series of two hour seminars on topics such as network security, content inspection, intrusion detection and more. The first “CIO Power Lunch” will be held on November 1, 2000 and the topic will be Remote Managed Services.
Information technology (IT) has attained a new level of complexity in the past few years. With the global availability of the Internet, even the smallest businesses are being thrust into the forefront of an ensuing mass of technology. This diversity and complexity threatens to exhaust even the most stable organizations.
In order to survive and thrive, businesses must take a proactive role in maintaining control of the technologies their businesses rely on. But how is it possible to keep control of such a rapidly changing environment?
Remote Managed Services enable end-users to focus IT personnel on projects that are strategic to the success of the company, knowing that their mission critical networks are being proactively monitored and managed.
Automated Systems, Inc. is the first company in Nebraska to be a Certified Provider of Computer Associates Managed Services. We have recently completed the building of our new Network Operations Center (NOC) which will be the central point of management for all of our Remote Managed Services.
The “CIO Power Lunch” series of seminars are intended for individuals responsible for the IT environments of businesses and organizations. The seminar will be held on November 1, 2000 at the Automated Systems, Inc. 4747 Pioneers Boulevard location in Lincoln. Check-in for the seminar starts at 11.00 a.m. with the seminar beginning at 11.30 a.m. There will be a free lunch provided during the seminar.
