Lincoln, Nebraska – June 4, 2013 Today Automated Systems, Inc. (ASI), a leader in providing core banking software solutions for community banks, announced that its Insite iTeller™, an easy-to-use image teller solution, will be available with Epson’s TM-S9000, the industry’s first multifunction teller device that combines fast receipt printing, check and ID scanning, mag stripe reading, cashier check printing and more into a single, compact footprint. With this combined solution, checks are only handled once, which means fewer and faster transactions and more efficient customer service. In addition, tellers can perform a number of functions, such as scanning checks and ID cards, creating virtual transaction tickets and print receipts, all from their workstations. ASI is poised to upgrade its Epson TM-J9000 units, currently installed in 70 banks ranging in size from under $12M to $500M, with Epson’s new, multi-function TM-S9000.
