Name: Jeff Hoyle

Position: IDS Network Supervisor

Q: What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
A: Watching my kids doing what they love the most. My oldest is a cheerleader at East and does competitive cheer for Cheer Express, my son has been on travel hockey teams for the last four years and plays football, and my little girl competes in both gymnastics and dance.

Q: The best piece of advice you have ever received?
A: There is more than one way to skin a cat, not that I actually skin cats. Doing something the same way all the time isn’t always the best solution.

Q: Who is someone you admire, and why?
A: My wife. She is the Director of Human Services for Lancaster County. A lot of her job is to help people and she is very good at it. If she’s not directly helping people or agencies she is writing grants to fund services in the county.

Q: What did you want to be when you were 10 years old?
A: I wanted to be a radio talk show host.

Q: What was your favorite TV show when growing up?
A: WKRP

Q: What are three things still on your bucket list?
A: Seeing the Northern Lights from inside the Arctic Circle or somewhere close. Visiting the UK, especially Scotland and Wales. Write something and get it published.

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?
A: People not returning weights when they are done using them at the gym. People not using turn signals is a strong second.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: Right now my favorite part is getting to know everyone and figuring out their skillsets.

Q: What advice would you give a candidate to join our team of superstars?
A: Working here won’t be like working at a large company so you’re not going to get stuck with only one thing to concentrate on, be ready to change hats often. You’re not going to be bored and you will be getting a variety of experiences.
