(ASI) announced that it will be hosting a Citrix MetaFrame XP Feature Release 1 seminar; an overview of the newest Citrix MetaFrame version. The seminar will be held on November 6, 2001 in Lincoln and presented by Justin Thurlow from Citrix Systems.
In this product seminar, we will discuss what’s new in MetaFrame XP Feature Release 1. Other topics that will be discussed include the differences between MetaFrame XPs, XPa, and XPe; mixing MetaFrame XPs, XPa, and XPe servers within the same server farm; Citrix MetaFrame’s relationship to the Microsoft XP effort; and recent licensing changes.
Along with MetaFrame XP Feature Release 1, Citrix has also announced the release of NFuse 1.6, Extranet 2.5, and MetaFrame® for UNIX®, Feature Release 1. This seminar will discuss NFuse, an application portal that provides organizations with the ability to integrate and publish interactive applications into any standard Web browser. NFuse is a three-tier solution that includes a Citrix Server component, a Web Server component, and a Citrix ICA client component with a web browser.
