Founded in 1981, Automated Systems, Inc. opened its doors to meet the core processing needs of community banks. ASI recognized a growing need in the community banking arena for an in-house core processing solution, and with this, The Insite Banking System™ was created. In the beginning, ASI started out offering a core banking solution and expanded over the years to offer hardware services as well. Today, Automated Systems, Inc. has grown to serve community banks across the country in their core banking software needs.
As technology has evolved and customer needs keep changing, the company’s vision keeps growing. ASI continues to focus their product line toward the needs of community banks, which shows through the releases of over a dozen ancillary products that add to the power of the Insite Banking System™. Among the first ancillary products developed were applications for telephone banking, online banking, and document imaging. A major release came in 2007 with Insite iTeller™, an easy-to-use image teller solution designed to assist tellers in conducting their daily business. In 2010, ASI released two more innovative products to revolutionize document management in community banks: Insite iDoc™ and Insite iDeposit™. ASI works diligently on new products and upgrades to keep ahead of the ever-competitive banking market.
In 2008, ASI made a bold move and founded Insite Data Services™ (IDS) which is a hosting solution created to meet customer demands. IDS focuses on three main solutions: application hosting, data protection, and secure email.
