High-speed demand document printer with Tri-Trak paper handling System

The FormsPro 4503 is a high volume forms printer that automates most all paper handling functions. It may even take place of two or more printers. Here's how.

• Holds up to three forms. With it's patented Tri-Trak paper handling system, the FormsPro 4503 can keep three forms loaded at all times. Switching forms is accomplished with the push of a button or computer command. All three forms travel a straight-up path.
• High speed for high volume printing. With draft speed up to 530 cps, the FormsPro 4503 can print a typical 1,000 character document in less than five seconds. That's over 700 documents per hour.
• Waste-free forms tear-off. After you tear off a form, the next is automatically positioned for printing. No need to choose between repositioning forms after each tear-off or wasting every other form - so you save time, money, and material.
• Superior Legibility - even on nine-part forms. The FormsPro 4503 Auto-Gap feature adjusts the printhead according to form thickness.
• Trouble-free forms handling. Easy-load tilt-up top simplifies loading, and straight-up paper path eliminates the problem of forms buckling and jamming. Paper jam sensor permits reliable, unattended operation.
• Automatic page edge sensor. Optical sensor keeps printhead from printing beyond the edges from the loaded form.
• Ribbon-wear indicator. When Printek brand ribbon is used, the printer automatically tracks ribbon wear and displays message to user when to change ribbon.
• Stores Parameters for up to 10 forms. Spacing, margins, font, and 11 other parameters are set using four front panel buttons. Options are displayed on 16-character LCD. Once you've set the parameters for a form, they can be stored and recalled at any time. For your convenience, the forms setups can be transferred automatically to another FormsPro printer (i.e., the 4300, 4500, or another 4503).
• Ruggedly built for reliable operation. The FormsPro 4503 is designed to withstand 100% duty cycles. It's 18-wire printhead will print 500 million characters, and carries a two year limited warranty when used in combination with Printek brand ribbon - longer than any printhead in the industry. A one-year warranty is offered if Printek brand ribbon is not used.
