Printek Discontinues FormsPro 4300
FP4500 and PM850 are a great replacement!

Printek, Inc. announces the discontinuation of the FormsPro 4300 model effective immediately. The popularity of the 4300 has declined since the introduction of the PrintMaster 850 series, making it uneconomical to manufacture.

Because commitments have already been received for the balance of 4300 inventory on hand, Printek is no longer accepting orders for this model.

Printek will continue to provide parts, repair service and warranty coverage for the installed base of 4300's.

• Fast printing speed. With speed up to 300 cps for the 4300, you won't have to wait long for your printed forms.
• Wastefree forms tear-off. After you tear off a form, the next is automatically positioned for printing. No need to choose between repositioning forms after each tear-off or wastLng every other form so you save time, money and material.
  • Superior legibility -- even on nine-part forms. The FormsPro 4300 provide 30% more striking force than conventional printers. They can print up to vAne-part forms that are legible to the last sheet, reducing the chance of costly errors due to unreadable copies.
  • Trouble-free forms handling. Easy-LoadTM flit-up top simplifies loading, and straight-up paper path eliminates the problem of forms buckling and jamming. Paper jam sensor pen~ts reliable, unattended operation.
• Automatic page edge sensor. Optical sensor keeps printhead from printing beyond the edges of the loaded form.
• Ribbon-wear indicator. When Printek brand ribbon is used, the printer automatically tracks ribbon wear and displays message to user when to change ribbon.
• Stores parameters for up to 10 forms. Spacing, margins, font and 11 other parameters are set using four from panel buttons. Options are displayed on a 16-character LCD. Once you've set the parameters for a form, they can be stored and redled at any time. For your convenience, the form setups can be transferred automatically to another FormsPro printer (i.e., the 4503, or another 4300).
• Ruggedly built for reliable operation- The FormsPro 4300 is designed to withstand 100% duty cycles. They carry a two-year limited printhead warranty when Printek brand ribbons are used -- longer than any prknthead in the industry. When non-Printek brand ribbons are used, the printhead warranty is one year.
